While the two of them were having "Some Troubles" Shane went away on a spring break type vacation and Adam told her to "Have fun, but not TOO much fun. Don't cross the line".

Then the producers of Family Business approached him and he gladly accepted.

Shotime has until Aug 1, I believe he said, to pick up the option for a third season, which IS currently being filmed regardless of their decision.
