As anybody here tried a good diet that actually works. I know the atkins one but have you tried anything else that works, I love carbs way too much to stop it.

Guys, I'll tell you this, there isn't a more honorable and upfront and generous guy other than Cyber-Age Dave! Always there when you need him and always willing to get things done right. Now as for diet, it's funny you ask Dave because I just got back on my exercise routine. Going for 500lbs + on the bench press by end of year. So all I did to lose fat is first off stay off any diet pills. Drugs don't work and only harm. The most simple and effective, fast and healthy fat loss program is basically simple diet changes and some cardiovascular exercise. This should work easy and be fun. So try this. First of all, MAKE the time to be willing to walk 40 minutes minimum 3 times a week. Pick whatever time of day. That alone will burn off fat fast and long term. That's the minimum. You could do more and it would be more effective. Just grab some favorite tunes with a walkman and some water ( SmartWaterSport is the best brand out there ) and just burn it up. As for eating, you've got to cut the inflow of carbohydrates. That means no beer, cut back on ice cream, pasta, candy. That doesn't mean you can't eat alot but you've got to eat the right foods. That means more salads with fresh meat like fish or beef, lamb, pork but not fried. And more water. Now if you want to build muscle I can stop by the office and show you a routine that'll get you ripped and happy in 6 to 8 weeks. Bottom line is, eat healthy and move around and have fun doing it. If you find you don't have the motivation for running or powerwalking then ask a girlfriend to walk ahead of you and shake something everytime you look tired. That'll make you walk faster :) Who says you can't put some romance into exercising! :) |
All diets work. The problem is sticking to them.
Instead of going low carb you could go low fat, a la Susan Powter ("Stop the Insanity"). |
Once I lost 6Kgs (11 pounds aprox) in 1 week. Just cut out all solids, and focus on a healthy Rum intake. say.... 3 parts dark rum to 1 part coke 27 times a day. LOL!!!:1orglaugh

my diet: exercise daily, and watch what I eat...
its revolutionary... maybe I should hahahahaha a book about it ? |
Eat nothing but subway. :)

Now, for the diet you mentioned. So basically you are saying give up my lifestyle. As for eating, you've got to cut the inflow of carbohydrates. That means no beer, cut back on ice cream, pasta, candy. What else is there to do in life if you can't have beer and Pasta. Isn't there a better way, there must be. |

Did you hear about the guy that ate at Mc Donalds for 30 Days straight. Gained like 30 pounds and went to the hospital for all kinds or problems. But I think the subway one may work too. |

I dont eat breakfast (value sleep over food), eat whatever I want for lunch, and have a snack at dinner time, and nothing after 8pm

I may be stating the obvious but often it is overlooked. Its very basic. Burn more calories then you take in each day. 3500 calories equates to roughly 1 pound. Keep in mind you are burning calories as you sit, breathe, sleep, whatever. But the key is to lose weight.
For example. If you currently take in 4000 calories per day yet only burn 3800k a day in your regular activities you will gain weight steadily. Eat smarter. Reduce your calorie intake and at the same time get more exercise. Even if it involves walking 30 minutes a day. Do some simple math and you will be able to shed the pounds at a nice steady pace. |
Hit the gym there's nothing better than that. All the other fucking diets what you will do is only take your weight back up after you lose some.
Stop the beer too it's worthless and it doesn't mix with bodybuilding and diets. Stay healthy with a good nutrition + exercise at least 3 times a week.. only after a couple of months your lifestyle will never be the same! Also here are a few tips on nutrition -Drink green tea it helps burn fat. -Don't drink fruit juices or juice-based products while dieting. -Spice up your food with red pepper it will boost your metabolism. -Eat some fish each week. -Freeze strawberries and other berries. -Outwait your food cravings...... |
if you wont workout NOTHING WILL WORK
I say contiue eating what your eating and in the morn run for 25 mins and at night 25 mins every day after every meal eat a grape fruit |
Don't eat anything after 6pm!

I lost 8 pounds in the past 8 days.
Here is what i did: 5 minutes on elliptical after i get up Breakfast: A small portion of oatmeal in water not milk. A multi-vitamin. A can of soup and a can of tuna (or salmon), which make up to 3-4 snacks throughout the day. A dinner of choice not to exceed 700-800 calories, with lots of veggies (love broccoli). Also make sure fat calories stay below 20-30% Some diet jello at night to supress desert cravings. Vitamin C + Asprin before bed. thats it. I have a huge apetite, and i dont starve myself at all with this. Eating at least 5-6 times a day in small portions is one of the key elements. Also the 40/40/20 (carb/protein/fat calories) rule to keep yourself on a healthy balance. Vitamins are very necessary as you cut your food intake. Getting up your heart rate in the morning, even if it is for 5 minutes, will help you burn more calories during the day. This is the early stages of my diet. Later I will get more into weight lifting, and of course swimming as soon as my pool is done. |
