There are two 5 stars... The ritz on key biscayne and the mandarin in brickell key...

In South Beach, try the Delano or the Marriot next to Nikki Beach, both are very nice places to be.
The Fountainbleu is ok, not what I'd consider a 5 star resort though. The Mercury and the Whitelaw are two boutique hotels owned by the same company, and I swear the Merc has the most comfortable hotel beds outside of the Four Seasons on this planet... |

Kimmy is right, the Mercury is probably the best hotel on the beach for the price if you aren't trying to show off. Understated, just far enough away but close enough to stumble back to when you are drunk.
The pool is heated too, it steams at night. The guy that owns it has posted here a few times, he has a few net businesses, not porn but uses porn traffic sometimes. The Shelborne also has a heated pool. I spent a few nights playing in it... there shouldnt be anything floating in it now though. ;) I beleive the Firefly suite at the Tides has a private heated pool. A small one though. Same for the big suite at The Shore Club. |
they just opened a ritz carlton on the beach, it's right near the delano.
and the raleigh has the new sunday party...nikki beach sucks...it's played out. |
