I can not see a provider attempting to take your idea, unless they are purely scum. Of course if they were scum like that I seriously doubt you would do business with them anyways right?

Oh you can always spread the work around some to keep most in the dark about all your ideas of course.

Lastly yes once you put the site up if it makes sense you will be copied fast. Trick is to get enough shot ahead of time so that everyone is always playing catch up.

Ya know even if they do talk. I can not see alot of people "getting it". People never amaze me with their stupidity. The idea may be right there in front of them, yet they will not figure it out to rip you off until they can visually see it.

Most content producers aren't in the pay site game, takes a different set of skills to be succesful there. And the smart ones want you to keep coming back to them for more content, that's how they make their money. Of course once the sites are there it's fair game, but you're ahead of everyone else.
