What about these three browser ideas?

<b>Idea 1:</b> I am sure you have all experienced it at some point or another - a need to somehow change an opened page. No problem; edit the source, save, and load, right? Well, sometimes you need to edit hidden values and such in forms before submitting them (either for fun hacky hacky or out of necessity), but many form scripts check the referrer variable as well as the submittion method (POST or GET) to make "sure" that the submitted data is coming from its own server and is legit.

In order to circumvent those situations you would have to w<b></b>rite a custom program/script that sends the data in the exact same way as the original form, referrer URL and all. Not many people have the know-how to do this, and it's a pain in the ass any way.

So what about a browser feature that easily lets you edit the source of any opened page (Page/Source tabbing comes to mind) in real-time, and automatically applies any change you make in the source to the page view? It is completely possible, and the referrer would stay put as whatever URL the page is located at.

This would also ease webmaster work drastically, among other things, since you can quickly experiment with code/result and only save the code when you are pleased.

<b>Idea 2:</b> This one is obvious, and I am sure many people have wanted it at some point, but yet no browser that I know of has implemented it yet. What I am talking about is a simple input field allowing you to manipulate your referrer URL on the fly. It could have a checkbox next to it, from which you can choose to use normal automatic referrer URLs (real ones), or your manipulated input.

Opera has the option to disable or enable referrer logging, but that doesn't do much when you would like to fake your referrer with custom text for some reason. For those of you who didn't know; referrer URL information is generated by your browser and sent in the header requesting the file. The server the file exists on has no means of knowing whether this information is true or not.

<b>Idea 3:</b> A checkbox option to make the browser conform any incoming HTML source to a standard, easy to read format, for your convenience when checking it out.

That's about it for this time. I've posted some browser ideas in the past too. If you're a C++ programmer who would like to work with me to make the best browser in the world, feel free to contact me. ;)
