I may be ignorant of land mines, but how do 10 people get injured from a land mine in a stadium?

sounds a little fishy to me.

They would have to be in pretty close to it. Land mines are small and designed to maim and disable, not to kill. Less effective than a grenade.

Its always funny to compare the reports on shit when it first hits the news.

how different are these two paragraphs?

Well, the russian government is notorious for trying to hide facts and make things sound not as bad as they really are. I wouldnt be surprised if half the people there were killed by a car bomb and they just said 10 injured by a landmine.

Well, by the news url, it seems as though the AU source tells it more like it is. And the American released go.com abcnews url clearly shows a more sugar coated version.
