TC obviously can't handle a sword. There was better sword play
in Conan and Highlander.

Just saw it two nights ago...it's an awesome movie. Definitely worth watching!

actually watching it right now. Or at least my roommate is.

I just watched it last night, and can say it was worth a rental. It was enjoyable from a cultural and cinematography standpoint. The rendering of 1876 Japan was fun to watch. It may make you want to buy a Katana and study the Bushido.

The conveyance of Tom Cruise's character as a tortured "indian killer" was over the top. How many flashbacks did they need? We get it already. Also, the Braveheart-style battle at the ending was a bit tedious - as the inevitable onslaught continued on and on and on ...

I enjoyed it.. not in my top 10 movies ever list but watchable. :2 cents:
