Free hosted gallery features - do you like this?
 

Based on a couple of conversations I had with webmasters and some threads I read here, I added a "description" popup for all of the CuteCouples free hosted galleries. I just want feedback on whether or not webmasters like the system and if there is anything else that should be added to the description popup.

Looks nice. I think it's a really good idea. One thing though, I would brighten up and sharpen the 88x88 thumbs just a tad bit.

Thanks for the compliments. The gallery designs that are already up were done by someone else but I will be building more, myself. I'm just trying to get everything flowing smoothly and add the little extra touches to make life easier on my webmasters.

Not dull, just a few I seen are a bit dark. Not a big deal, any webmaster could brighten them to his prefence. I just always have brought more clicks with brighter / sharper thumbs.

Actually, you were right. I sharpened all the thumbs but I didn't mess with the brightness because sharpeneing them made them look brighter, anyway.

I think the galleries look great but I would not want to copy and paste from a bunch of popups, all in a text file would be cool

pop-up is on the right track, but the more clicks you create, the harder it is to get guys to use it

I suggest you simply make a text page that has the gallery URL and a description

you seem to use several different desc lengths, so either split the list into two sections, or make two text files - what ever is easier - but the idea is it is a fast and simple copy/paste for the webmasters. They can then import the info easily into their admin scripts - and you get traffic + joins

might not seem like a big deal - but what happens when you have 100+ hosted galleries? Nobody wants to click and select that many times

You make a good point. I had been thinking in terms of webmasters who would want to use one gallery at a time, not webmasters who might want to use a large number of galleries for filler.

OK, new question: what format or formats would you guys like to see a flat text file in?

You get the picture. The only TGP scripts I work with are the ones I hahahahaha myself so I don't know if there is a standard format.

if you use the pipe delineator you'll cater to most everyone

I am not sure of the format, and I would say guys need to doa little Find+Replace to make it perfect, but if you go URL|DESC|PICS that will go a long way in making importing a simple procedure.

I dont mind editing a big import list - it's well worth it. A couple of minutes and I have a new sponsor added to the rotations.
