Static vs. rotating: give me your opinion
 

Currently I have only static free hosted galleries for the CuteCouples affiliate program but I have been thinking about adding galleries that will rotate daily. I'm wondering which kind of free hosted gallery you guys prefer when using free hosted galleries. If people really want both, I am going to have both but I'd like to get some idea of how important the different kinds of galleries are before I invest a lot of time and money into building a system for rotating galleries.

Yeah, this thread is totally barren. I want to taylor my newest program to fit the needs of my fellow webmasters and no one cares enough to drop in a simple "I prefer rotating galleries."

Don't feel bad... I find the same thing... I have done everything I read on GFY board to make my program easy for webmasters and I still don't get many to promote the site. FHG, Pre- made thumbs in 2 sizes, copy and paste gallery discriptions, I just don't get it. I am in the process of doing rotating FHG to see if that will help....

I am not having such a hard time finding people interested in promoting the site, I am just having a hard time getting people to tell me if they prefer static or rotating galleries :/

Bigger sites that take submissions and only bury a couple here and there prefer daily rotated galleries (one link and they're done). New sites / exclusively hosted gallery sites prefer static galleries and a shitload of them.

I use Static galleries only because I like knowing exactly whats going up.

I dont trust rotating because they may recycle them every week or 2 weeks and then my surfers will be seeing the same thing over and over again.

I like static galleries. Now if you have a tgp that is full of links that say

teen pics
teen pics
teen pics
teen pics

then a daily rotating gallery would work out great.

Static all the way. If you want to rotate, every webmaster can dump them in a rotate script. The best way for me are sponsers who offer static galleries with descriptions and idealy in the

Static looks like the most popular choice at the moment. Is there anything else you guys like to see as a feature of sponsor-hosted galleries?
