SoBeGirl Illegally added me to his Spam List - Does Lensman allow this?
 

Okay - so SoBeGirl got all upset because of the thread making fun of his looks (*not like it hasnt happened before) - but I didnt start the thread only added to it.

but when I woke up this morning, I found SoBe's spam in my email without my approval or request - I am sure this has happened to many of you. I have blocked it but now I think I am in SoBe hell - forced without my permission to live a life getting spams of his stuff daily.

Why does SoBe who apparently is now desparate for sales and money that he has to go through and collecting email addresses from this board and spamming the shit out of them - isnt this reason to be banned??

Is there a government organization to deal with this kind of guy?

I never really cared either way on the SoBe issue until I started seeing friends getting upset over his business practises. I enjoyed the thread about his pictures - but to steal names from GFY list has to be the lowest - then spam everyone??!!!

No class at all - just not how you should be doing business in this industry - your reputation will eventually lead to your companies downfall

I will collect a few then send them off - but what surprises me is that GFY / Lens has not rules against the practises of someone like SoBe - its everything illegal in this industry and what we abhore.

I didnt start this thread, but what i am seeing is that you take peoples email addresses including my own and spam them - that is illegal and not good business practise.

I dont care either way about your company or how much you say your making = i dont live my life thinking, "whats SoBe doing now", but I do step in when illegal business practises are being done.

Perhaps why other content providers hate you as you say, is because you are giving them a bad name!!!

To get removed from a mail list you have to request to be removed. I remove anyone who requests this. I love the way people claim oHHH sobegirl is going oout of business..

The thing is that the more theads you start like this the more people take a look at me and my company and my products and the more new customers I get. I am starting to get used to this kind of marketing as untraditional as it is. It really works ;-)

Now about my mail list that has thousands of happy webmasters on it.. I have never spammed anyone. Anyone who does not want to get mails from me can have that mail address removed.

Most appreciate it but I guess some jelous haters who don't have a mail list and a program such as I do get very jelous at the easy money they "think" I make. But I can tell you nothing is easy and I have worked very hard to get to this point.

I think the more you guys rant about Sobe more people want to do biz with him. I know i got his e mail address from this board and i spammed him. (well I called it making a sales contact).

I will be the first to admit the drama is what pointed him out to me. So far so good on the business side with him i have no complaints.

I saw in someones sig yesterday that they have 19,000 webmaster emails for sale.

Why not slam that guy? He's selling WEBMASTER emails without the webmasters consent and he's advertising it in his sig. I personally don't give a shit but since you're against webmasters being spammed, seems like another worthy target for you.

I think all of the PR people are generating for Sobe is making him more and more likeable.
