Yeah Tool rocks.. I went to see them a couple Summers ago when they had some tour dates up here in Canada.

when i was 20 my nickname was 'tool man mike' - all i listened to was undertow and opiate. at any party i would head straight to the cd player of whoevers house it was - remove whatever was playing and roll with the first bong rip in intolerance :thumbsup

back when aol was the only thing i knew existed, there was a tool chat board - i used to heckle the shit out of some dude claiming to be maynard. i told him he was probably some 14 year old kid and full of shit.

then at a show - the roadies recounted word for word my conversations on the chat board. i had been calling maynard a lying sack of shit for a few months.

anyhow - ended up meeting him, the band, got some free tix, backstage passes - only really met MJK and Danny Carey. Only really talked to MJK. Got an autograph from Danny for a drummer friend of mine. Great fucking guys, and goes without saying one of the best bands ever :thumbsup

Do you think they named th band Tool so some people would be walking around with a thsirt that said "Tool" on it and not realize they were the butt of some big rock star practical joke.

I wanted to name a band of mine to Fucking Idiot so guys would walk around in thsirts that said "Fucking Idiot" on them.

Tool is one of the only bands who really put their artistic ability into their albums.

TOOL is fucking awesome. Of all the concerts that I ahve been too, they have put on the best show. Their stage show is fucking awesome.

They are geniuses...Maynard is one of the most talented hahahahahars/singers and a band to back his shit up. Thier videos are killer too. Wicked live shows if you ever get the chance to see em.

I listen to Tool a lot and A perfect circle is also one of my fav bands.

i started listening to tool my freshman year in high school and no other lyrics ever touched me as much

my ex and i used to sit there and stare at the ceiling and listen to tool for hours
man was i lame back then
