I only pray they will be... without all the BS too.

I don't know if there will be any third party processors left by next year.

brizzad 05-06-2004 04:48 PM

there needs to be a processor aimed at the african american community

I think it's become harder and more challenging to get in the 'game' these days. I think more will leave than enter..

For sure, its still early days on the web. The last 7 years or so have given some of the banks and big business time to analyze the mistakes others have made and hopefully learn from them.

maybe.

Visa USA rules are purposely created to discourage IPSP's from existing. I would expect more to leave before I would expect to see new ones (of course there will always be some fly by night scammers coming along)

i imagine that recurring will end soon and that will make it even more difficult for a new company to compete.

RP Fade 05-06-2004 04:53 PM

Post script..

A few years ago we were trying to develop a processing company. We had it ready to go..it was called 'Ncharge'. We sold it to FCI out of Seattle before it was even launched. Banks, even back then, were extremely demanding and strict. I can only imagine that their requirements are even more stringent these days. It's not impossible but I think it will require alot of resources..

:2 cents:

PissFunny 05-06-2004 05:50 PM

I might start up a new one and call it poobill

See if you can find any information about a company called FX Source. Not much information online about them at all. If you dig hard, you will find.

Imagine... a world without chargebacks. Thats what FX source will deliver. If it ever makes it off the ground.

How do I know? Because I know everything. Bookmark this post and come back in 10 years. You heard it here FIRST.

Juicy, within a month I will have a solution that will take chinese money that will not have chargebacks. I think that kind of population will have some effect. All of the traffic that is tossed away.

In a way, I'm waiting for the day they are all "scrubbed" :-) Then there may be some "real" court cases and a lot of thought into coming up with a "real" alternative, and better secenario.

Some "elements" of parts of existing systems have some basis of a future solution to card company control - but there is a long way to go yet :-)

MattO 05-06-2004 08:41 PM

Juicy D. Links 05-06-2004 09:25 PM

That would be incredible, if possible.

Living For Today 05-06-2004 10:05 PM

Lets hope there will be more solutions in the future :)

I think you might be right

I would love to see a co-op that was owned by the webmasters that did the processing for porn. Perhaps if enough webmasters pooled their money they could get a nice reserve going and put together a good processor. I have a kick ass script that is a virtual mirror of Paypal but just don't have the reserves to fund that kind of operation.

I imagine down the road, someone adult related.. maybe ARS? Will come up with a new billing solution, and make a fucking ton of cash.

V_RocKs 05-06-2004 11:56 PM

Why are WE pooling money together, I thought the idea was to charge the customers?
