I was talking to my freinds lsat night I told i just had a bath cause im nursing a bad cold and they both commented that they cant remember the last time they had a bath. They are shower only peeps. They kinda giggled saying it was girlie.

Makes me wonder? Are bath only for girls and when you are sick only?

No, and they must not have used a bath with a whirlpool in it.

i love a shower, but it's a nightmare at my apartment

I only took baths when I was like four years old...

Baths are not just for the ladies.............. it just feels good to sit in a tub with bubbles and clear the mind, ya know ? :)

When you're 6'7, and you aren't rich enough yet to build/buy a custom tub, baths are pretty much impossible. So, consequently, I'm a shower person.

My townhouse has a bathtub the size of a jacuzzi. I love bathtime. Bubbles everywhere!

Ahh yes a bath. Nothing like soaking in your own filth.

Never, anymore. Person who lived in my apt before was in a wheelchair and converted the bathtub into just a huge shower. It's still fun though, and the handles are most useful. :Graucho

I can only bathe if the tub is freshly scrubbed. Any grunge on the side or sticky stuff and I get grossed out. Ew! But a bath is nice now and then to chill out in candle light and soak up some nice bath oils. I guess I do that once every other month or so.

I do bath at least 3 times per week,and shower every day,sometimes twice a day,i kinda like wather and bath really relax me:thumbsup

Only when you are sick. I usually soak in a tub with about a pound of Epsom salts when I have a cold.


If you aren't sick the only reason a man has to sit in hot water is if there's a whirlool.

I'm the same way with the clean tub thing. I'm just not motivated enough to scrub all the sand out of the bottom of the tub. Although I'd scrub the tub if Derek would come take a bath with me :Graucho

I've got a big jacuzzi whirpool bath. Use it maybe once a month.
Showers are quick, but every now and then I want to soak and relax.

i haven't taken a bath in years. waste of time imo, shower is so much faster.

Taking a bath WITH a girl is what it's all about. I don't remember the last time I took a bath though.

My skin got fucked up thru that shit, i used to take a daily swim and two showers a day. Now im fucked up if i dont have any nivea around

My place doesn't even have a bath. Kinda narrows the options a bit. If anyone has some quick cash ideas I'd love to hear them - I need a real house, not this poxy unit.

I tried sitting on the plug in thw shower, I flooded the bathroom floor before I got a bath.

I dont know but if you take a bath everyday...you shouldnt be soaking in filth.

Showers are pure utility... I shower when I wake up, after a workout, or before I go out.

Baths are (almost) pure relaxation... a bathe when I just wanna chill, maybe read a book in peace away from the screaming children, kick the jets on to relax some sore muscles. It's basically just a smaller, personal hottub, and you don't see anyone saying that chillin' in the spa is effeminate.

In the end, who really gives a fuck if it's "girly"? You feeling a little insecure about your manhood or something? :1orglaugh

Yup that's awesome... so relaxing, I am a water baby.. and at the end you still can have a shower to double the fun :)
