My father ran a red light and a camera caught him... but the car is registerd to me and it says i am responsible...
Do i get any demerit points?

Yep...you will get a ticket in the mail soon with a pic of the offense. How can they tell who was driving when they only take a pic of the ass end of the car?

i already got a pic in the mail... it shows the car from the back and u can't even tell how many ppl were there...
and it says car came to the intersection when red light was displaying for 0.5 seconds
and went through when light was displaying for 1.3 seconds

You can fight it and most likely you will have to pay the fine but you will not lose the points.

but 3 if the cops catch u what if the camera catches u
it doesn't know who is driving...

I think you just answered your question"and u can't even tell how many ppl were there" so if you can't tell,you can't say your not responsible

My grandpa ran a red and the camera got him, you don't get any points for it. If it had of been a cop who caught him then yes you'd get points but since it was the camera you don't.

thats good otherwise i would need to go to an inteview to discuss my driving record :mad:

How much was the ticket? I think my grandpa paid 250 am just wondering if it's the same for everyone.

i want to plea gulity with explanation probably they will lower it a bit
