Anyone got money reserves at ProBilling?

Then be worried, just got this in my email.

Quote:

Dear Probilling Merchant,

We regret to inform you that due to new banking issues, starting immediately ProBilling Ltd. will suspend reserve releases to merchants and withhold unsettled reserve balances. Reserves will be held until the complete settlement of these issues.

As your contract agreement states, should our processor and/ or acquiring bank choose to withhold reserves for any reason, ProBilling would consequently be required to suspend reserve payouts to clients. We will continue to work with our processor and acquiring banks to release the held funds for payout.

Please address all questions regarding this matter to [email protected].

We apologize for any inconvenience that this new policy creates.

Regards,
proBilling Merchant Services

Anyone that was still at ProBilling after the first year were idiots!

The absolutely funniest email I ever got was about a month ago.
You..see, one day about 1 year ago Probilling suddenly took over $4700.00 out of my reserves. Said they "had forgotten to take their share of the signup fees initially". Yeah..RIGHT!:feels-hot

So, that helped usher me OUT OF THERE pronto! But this email comes last month from their "bookkeeper" saying I owed them $60.00 for a chargeback and since I had no reserves left with them..wanted to know when I would pay this amount.

You got to be fucking kidding me!:321GFY :1orglaugh

Just got this myself:

NexusXI would like to notify each of its valued clients that we will no longer be processing through Visa and MasterCard outside of Canada. With the ever-increasing scrutiny by the credit card associations with regards to IPSPs, we feel that we can no longer offer reliable credit card processing to international clients. We have decided to withdraw from Visa and MasterCard processing outside of the Canadian market.

NexusXI will no longer process Visa and Mastercard as of midnight (MST), Friday, May 15th, 2004.

All of the accounts at our acquiring banks remain open and in good standing. All NexusXI account holder's funds are completely secure; regular payouts and holdbacks will be dispersed as usual. Your account will remain open and accessible at www.nexusxi.com. All password management functions, consumer and merchant services will be operating as normal.

With the recent news of yet another processing company declaring bankruptcy, NexusXI's decision to no longer process Visa and Mastercard is a prudent decision, and in the best interest of our current clients. NexusXI will be focusing on its existing services as well as the Pay Per Minute billing system to be released this month.

This is not the closure of another online processor. This is a business decision made to enhance the services NexusXI has already developed, and we look forward to a long and prosperous business partnership with our valued merchants.

What amazes me is the way Visa check these people, the reserves are our money. They should have no right to withold it after the 6 months. Seems the bosses will be using it to pay their wages. :feels-hot

Globill : official papers of bankruptcy have been mailed....

The NexusXI issue : do I understand that they are out of International but will process Visa/MC for Canada?

I was lucky I asked for my reserve right at the 6 month mark and surprisingly I actually got the check sent to me earlier then I thought. I guess I was just lucky if they are holding everyone's back now.
