What is the going rate of pay for a Web Production Specialist.

Meaning: a person who alters images, builds gateway sites, does site updates, etc...

Is it hourly? Salaried? Commissioned? Whats a normal going rate?

I dont think there is a going rate... you pay whats normal in the area you are hiring the person and it can vary greatly based on their qualifications.

15-18/hr...but I suppose that also depends on where you live.

I've found less than that you end up with retards.

You can start to offer him/her a salary to see how it works, later you can add some productions bonus.... etc..

as stated above, you will end up with retards. the kind of GFY retards that learn dreamweaver and call themselves programmers.

not only that, but grown adults who work for 10/hr usually have a lot of personal problems as well. If you do pay 10, Id suggest a college student from a decent university.

Since you are the person involved, I'd say ask for at least 15-20 per hour.
