Lesbian Kiss Lands Canadian Bar In Trouble
 

(Red Deer, Alberta) Same-sex couples may be marrying by the hundreds in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal, but in Red Deer, Alberta gay kiss could get you thrown out of a bar.

A lesbian couple say they were told to cool it or get out when they exchanged a kiss in a local bar. Amanda Cournoyer, 19, and here girlfriend Heather have filed a complaint with the province's human rights commission.

"I should be able to kiss my girlfriend anywhere I want," Cournoyer told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Monday. "I shouldn't have to hide."

"We were sitting there, cuddling on the couch, doing what we normally do, and we had a lingering kiss, probably three, four seconds, and this guy comes over and he's like, 'you can't do that here,'" Cournoyer said.

I personally dont like to see gay couples, or STRAIGHT couples for that matter making out in public. A little kiss here and there, or hug, or hand holding is all fine and good, but anything further then that should be left at home.

I hate being the voice of logic here but simply these girls can file all the complaints they want. The bar has the right to refuse entry to any one they wish, especially if they negatively affect other customers.
