largest capacity portable firewire drives available?
i have a bunch of small portable 60 gig MCE fw drives that i use for traveling. does anything bigger (around 100 gigs or more) exist?
i'm talking about small, portable drives, not desktop fw drives. thanks :) |

Damb quiet thats a MASSSIVE LACK book you must need to carry on.
How many chicks are in there man to need 100 gigs? |
Nope, I don't think so Quiet. I was searching pretty hard a couple of weeks ago and when it comes to truly being portable 60 gigs is the limit.

That kangaru MattO posted looks nice but I can't really judge how large it is from the pics. Are the connectors there as a size comparison tool or just as a representation of what's included?
odd i remember them having the 250 external it was a little larger than the pocket drive but i know they made one im not sure illl scour the site for you...
nice thing, but i prefer external rack. You can use whatever you want with that case. :winkwink: gigs ar'nt problem :)

bump. any other ready-to-go 100 gig (or more) portable firewired hd's? i'm about to buy a couple more 80 gig drives, would much rather buy a high quality 100+ small portable fw drive.
You can just buy a big ass HD and use this... http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...145-745&depa=0 pretty much turns it into an external usb2.0 hd
