low price.. I have no control over how much a set gets sold. Unless its exclusive.. or cheap its a waste of $.

The idea of the semi-exclusive was to give people the chance to buy a set that would have limited distribution. But I hear what you say about having no control over what others will do with it.

As for exclusive, I've been looking around at buying in exclusive to resel and the porblem is the rubbish I'm being offered. It might be nice for a paysite, os they can boast ""EXCLUSIVE CONTENT" but it just ain't good. We bought some exclusive to sell non-exclusive and sales on it suck.

Exclusive to the surfer is the first time he sees it, with the wealth of content available on the Internet few surfers will look at a set or video more than once, so buying brand new and putting up in the front end of your paysite, inside, or TGP ensures you are delivering "Exclusive" to your member or surfer.

However today building a fully exclusive site is too expensive for most, few site will succeed with less than 100 sets or videos, exclusive that would cost anything from $20K to $30K for content alone.

This doesn't apply only to surfers...

A friend of mine commented the other day that he had a lot of content so old that the current batch of TGP reviewers had never seen it. At least that is why he figured he was getting the same number of acceptances with it, as when he used new content.

In threads like this it isn't long before someone comes along and says something similar. Amazing how people few people realize that Bangbros and Nasty Dollars material is more exposed than 90% of the bargain basement content that's around. The reason it sells is not that it's exclusive, but that it's bloody good! Even more important: it's different!

Nor would the surfer give a sh*t, even if he knew, whether the webmaster has paid 2 cents a pic or 20 dollars a pic.

Just another pretty girl in another batch of perfectly good but basically mundane photographs (or movies), fills space. But that's all. What it doesn't do is make any difference to my sales or help keep members for longer. Therefore it isn't worth a premium price.

If a content producer wants me to bite on exclusive or semi-exclusive, or simply asks a higher price than a dozen other producers, then show me a model or a style of photography that's going to earn me extra money too.

Exclusive doesn't mean shit for pics anymore Charly. Only video, and barely even then. Sell those pics cheap and buy a video production suite with the proceeds.

The fact that the next shoot is the same as the last and so on makes the whole thing nothing To truly make it exclusive it has to be different or done better or a different idea.

And you are totally right the surfer does not give a dam if you spent $20 a pic or 2 cents. All he wants to know is how hard it will get his dick. He wants quality porn, that does not mean Playboy or Penthouse that means girls he can dream will fuck him.

Look at the "Hot Babe" threads here and the "I would hit it" replies. How many of these girls do you think would hit you? That is true porn, the picture/video that makes me think she will fuck me. To be honest we know we would fuck her.

Bangbros was just a great twist on an old theme, not sure it was done well, of Gonzo. If Buttman or Ben Dover had $100 for every girl they had approached on the street they would be rich. Hang on they do and they are. :1orglaugh

I hear what you are saying about videos, look up who owns www.videocontentstore.com we are splitting again to bring more emphasis to sales, cos video sales at the moment suck. :(

What worries me is no one from here has taken advantage of either offer.
