Man eats nothing but McDonalds for 30 days

Man Ends His Mcdiet

COSTA MESA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- A Costa Mesa, California, man has just ended a 30-day "McDiet," just as healthy as he was when he started.

Chazz Weaver, an economist, took the challenge of eating only McDonalds' food for 30 days to refute Morgan Spurlock's hahahahahahahahaary "Supersize Me" -- which shows the filmmaker packing on the fat after eating only at McDonald's.

Weaver lost six pounds of fat on his diet and did not lose any muscle mass or strength. He's still waiting for the results of his cholesterol test.

He thinks he had success on the McDiet because he maintained an exercise routine that burned the calories he ate, something he says Spurlock did not do.

Weaver says his results prove that Spurlock did the same thing he accused McDonalds of doing: using misinformation to profit off the public.

During the diet Weaver was asked what his first post- McDonalds meal would be, and, after thinking it over for a long time, on Saturday (May 1) he went to McDonalds for breakfast.

A hahahahahahahahaary of his experience is in the works.

I could live off of their Triple Cheeseburgers. That is until I died of cholesterol :(

Rich 05-04-2004 11:26 AM

Watch this guy drop dead in 6 months. Anyway this is clearly BS, obviously McDonalds set this up to save some face when this other guy's movie comes out.

There was also a lady who lost weight eating at McDonald's for a month. She ate a lot of salads and parfaits. It comes down to food choice and quantity.

boardersweetie 05-04-2004 11:30 AM

Ew. I couldn't eat McDs for that many days. that stuff makes me nautious.

Just goes to show there is always two sides to every story. :) Some people are lucky and can eat any damn thing they want too without getting fat.

We're not talking about salads, we're talking about the food they actually sell. Most importantly, to kids. No kid has ever ordered a McD's salad, but I have seen a friend of my 8 year old's eat 4 cheeseburgers in a single sitting.

The guy who made the movie eat their real food... big mac's, quarter pounders, chicken mcnuggetts, fries, etc. No one's judging McDonalds on the quality of their salads. :2 cents:

Materialist 05-04-2004 11:36 AM

McDonald's is poison.

Indeed. There's the truth, and the BS damage control spin set up by the multi national corporation. Usually the latter makes us feel better so we tend to believe it.

What a nice cholesterol story :1orglaugh

mryellow 05-04-2004 12:50 PM

Morgan Spurlock's doctors were telling him to stop after 3 weeks
because his liver was about to pack it in. Just because the CEO
paid some guy a small fortune to make press releases to the
contrary doesn't make me believe him.
