Centrino Processor - Worth it?

We're talkign at LEAST $500-800 on top of a P4 2.6 lappie.

What EXACTLY am I paying for?

Im on a dell latitude d600 1.4GHz centrino with 256mb, seems to lag at times...Other then that its great.

Go with the Centrino, but max out the RAM. :thumbsup

You're paying for a 6 hour battery life.
Centrino's dont run hot like a P4.

Why not just buy a P4 2.6 GHz and spend another $100 on a second battery?
