10.5, Earthquake Mini-Series on NBC?
I tried watching it for half an hour last night but gave up due to the cheeziness of the script, acting, and the frenetic camera-work.......guess the guy thought he was in his grade 10 film appreciation class. Not to mention the effects seemed to get worse as the show evolved, with an earthquake actually chasing a train down its track and swallowing it up.
Fromage! Anyone else found this to be so? |
Yeah..I recorded it on Tivo and it's pretty bad. Thank god for Tivo though because there was a friggin' commercial every 10 minutes it seem :BangBang:

worst fuking mini-series ever

Make a movie => fuck mini series

damn...I'm lucky I was far far away from that...

yeah th ebit of the earthquake just "happening" to follow the exact lines of the track was just to much..... but then again it gave me a good laugh or too.... remeinded me all to much of old charlesten heston disater flicks. - I half expect to see him somehow... hahaha

Just sit out in LA long enough and you'll get to see the real thing.

I know it did well in the ratings........
http://tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve...1,1002,272_617|87883|1|,00.html Too bad.......I won't waste another second on that turkey.....for a real disaster movie, I'm waiting for "The Day After Tomorrow" by Roland Emmerich ("Independance Day" director). Now, that looks like the real deal. I was just disappointed in 10.5 because the commercials made it look good, effects and all. That opening sequence was laughable, with the quakes effects stalking that extreme biker! :1orglaugh What sub-intellect thought of that sequence? |

I'm watching it because there is nothing on, the editing is driving me nuts, its like those old Nissan commericals, zooming in, zooming out.
Nice to see Fred Ward working again, don't see much of him since Remo Williams. :1orglaugh |
