Okay Germans..tell me about Currywurst
 

someone just told me about them and I thought they were joking but I googled it and got:

"Currywurst

The currywurst is Berlin's gift to the world of fast food. Served at Schnell Imbiss (fast lunch) stands all over Berlin. Usually served on a wax paper covered paper plate, a currywurst is a bratwurst cut into sections, smothered with tomato sauce, and then sprinkled with curry powder and paprika. Now, that is SO wrong but yet I kind of want to try it.

I went to Germany when I was 12 to visit my cousin a long time ago and ate currywurst. I didn't like it as much as bratwurst, but it wasn't bad.

normally it's cutted in small pieces.

maybe it is a bit like americans putting chilli on their hot dogs?

One of the best fast foods in germany beside Döner (turkish fast food).In germany are many turks so you find a Dönerbude on every edge.Try it out :thumbsup but don't deal with turks :2 cents:

Bullshit. The real and only "Currywurst" was founded in Bochum ("Ruhrgebiet"). It´s the most popular food - near Mc Donald´s and Burger King of course.

If you want to try it, just hit me up, I´ll invite you to an ultimate Currywurst dinner.

If you´re from UK, I´ll meet you in London, where I ´ve got friends at. When I´ll be there, I take some Currywurst with me, if it is allowed to in England nowadays.
