Read only the topic and then reply or do you read the entire thread and then post a reply?

I think I'm one of the only ones left that actually read entire threads before adding my :2 cents: .

I read the thread to prevent saying the same thing as somebody before me. People like papichulo dont even read the first post they just reply to the title. Which makes him look stupid occasionaly.

I agree, Battus. When the thread takes a different direction and then someone replies to the original topic it makes them look stupid. Or if someone already answered the question (or gave the answer) and people jump in and are still guessing. :(

If the topic is very interesting, sometime I read all posts.. but not always!

I don't open 2 page threads anymore unless the topic seems really worth reading the whole thing for... I'm not that patient.

Anything more than 3 words is fucking boring.

With threads longer than 2 pages though, I tend to skim faster and pay more attention to the last page, to determine where the conversation is headed.
