ok, here's a pic of my new laptop, Toshiba - Intel Centrino 1.5GHz , 512ram, 60GB HDD, NVidia GoForce FX 5200 , 15.4" display, harman kardon speakers.

Battery life is awesome on those things... my new lap has about 3.5hrs itself... not bad for a DTR.

Looks good, that's the one I want, but the 3.0Ghz with 17" 16:9 screen model :)

Intel Centrino 1.5GHz = Celeron for laptops, which means worthless in my line of work.

512ram = Now that I have hahahahahahas booted and a few programs like photoshop, dreamweaver and VMWare open, all I have to do is decide which 2 I want to close before I open any projects.

you're missinformed dude... celeron is smth else, it's a difference between a celeron laptop and a centrino.

centrino has 1MB level 2 cache , believe it or not my 1.5 centrino runs waaaay faster than my pIV at 1.8GHz, 512kb cache - 512 ram too, Abit MoBo.

never noticed the problems you have with pshop , dreamweaver etc (I'm using homesite tho, I don't like my memory filled with useless things DW is full of)

I'm not stupid, I did my homework before buying this laptop.
it has the best speed/weight/battery life compromise.

right now it's $1700.
