What would you do if a host did this.
 

I regged a domain for a friend.
He's no longer around the domain is in my name and I had set him up on some hosting on a known hosting company that maintains a presence here on GFY.

What he had planned was never fully realized so there wasn't any real traffic to it and I kind of forgot about it after I told the hosting company to stop billing for it.

Anyway I thought about doing something with the domain name and found out even tho' it's still in my name there is a website being hosted on it.

The DNS info was never changed...but someone put up a tgp on it.

What would you do?

Get drunk, go to the hosting company office and beat the living piss out of everyone :glugglug

This is not phatservers I currently host with them and they are topnotch..this is another company and wanted to make that clear

Looking at it and looking at the links that lead to another one of their tgps something leads me to believe they might have burned this domain name.

In other words I think the domain name might now be banned or blacklisted at tgps and even google.

So lets go beat them up anyways. Then grab more beer... first round on me bro :thumbsup :glugglug

if you are not using a domain it should be pointing to "Park"

not a Active server,

unless you done this and they changed the info (hijack)
