to do biz with people who have been outted as crooks and cheats on numerous ocassions...but do so on the gamble that they might save a few bucks here or there.

I have to agree. I've learned the hard way to make use of the search function before doing business with anyone off the boards.

The funny thing is the cheats are really just a small handful of people. But people continue to do biz with them.

Sure there are a lot of crooks out there. But there's a handful of cheats that continue to work GFY and the cheapskates who try to save a few dollars here or there.

Well, not everyone pays attention to board drama and knows who's a cheater and who isn't. A GFY cheater forum would be nice, sort of like Choker has.

I'm always willing to give someone a chance if they've had an issue in the past figuring maybe they made a mistake and learned from it. Goodness knows, I've made a few mistakes that could get me branded as a crook (I remember using blindlinks on a per click program...and didn't even know what a blindlink was at the time).

That being said, it depends on the scale of the scam/crokedness/possible mistake.

These boys I'm referring to are kinda like instructions on a shampoo bottle when they cheat...lather..rinse..repeat.

Some people just see the price, they never think that it can't be done straight for that price, or if it were any good it would not be given away.

Some here would buy dollars for 90 cents, then be surprised when they Canadian dollars.

That's very true. I can't recall his name..but he used to consult casinos on cheats and he wrote a book about scam artists and con men that I read years ago...anyway conmen play on your greed.

They count on your thinking you're almost cheating them to get you to bite.

well that's what the best cheaters operate on is your own greed used against you. so in a way you deserve it because in your own mind you feel like maybe you're the one getting the deal and cheating them when in reality you're the one getting eaten. it happens all the time, more than you even think and a lot of people never say because they know they were screwing someone themselves when they got screwed.

Are you talking about MKU Group? 180, Dr. Charles Ewen or whatever the other ones name is? Used to be DirtyD and he also used the Twisted Dollar nick (without the knowledge of the program owners)? Is that the people you're talking about? Who's using them now? AEBN? TripleXCach? North? I'd be surprised to find out who is actually still using them.
