CHENEY, BUSH WRAPPING UP FOUR-YEAR VENTRILOQUISM TOUR OF UNITED STATES

Washington D.C.?Some say ventriloquism is a long lost and soon forgotten theatrical art, but try telling that to the two cut-ups in the Oval Office who have taken two foreign countries as well as the hearts of the nation by storm. Dick ?Shiner? Cheney and his whimsical, befuddled little wooden friend George ?Mr. Pickles? Bush Jr. have saluted the performers of yesterday and have brought back a long abandoned craze back into America?s watching eye.

?We first started doing the act during the election,? Cheney recalls while adjusting a bow tie. ?Mr. Pickles was a little reluctant, but in the end he came through.?

?You wish, you big dummy,? Bush retorted, only to spur a barrage of laughter from aides and Secret Service men. The Cheney-Bush ventriloquism act has proven so popular that most people have absolutely no idea they?re actually witnessing an act when the two rag-tag teamsters perform on television. Cheney is a masterful artist, and carefully manipulates Bush into saying just about anything without being noticed.

?It?s taken me a lifetime to perfect this,? Cheney continued. ?Maybe someday future generations will see that we tried to keep this tradition of government administration alive, and will aspire to do the same. That is, of course, if we don?t get assaulted by insurgents.?

i say "own it" as in i have w.r.i.t.e.r.s that work for me that are incredibly talented and i posted it on a whim to see what people would say. it did not occur to me that it would be suggested that i stole it without giving credit.
