Photoshop gone wacko... please help.
I just put PS 7.0 and even tried 6.0 into my new system and the color is wacked on the images I put in it. The images are fine in Image Ready or any other program so I know it's not my monitor.
The colors are off, almost like it's missing grey colors... and white's are light yellow. Any idea to what is doing this? I have been in every setting and everything that I can find matches with PS on my older system. I'm going man. Oh... the kicker... when you go to save an image, the save box where you see the image as you choose the format displays the image fine. :( |
Are you working in RGB mode?

Probably accidently set it to Proof settings.
View -> Proof Setup -> (Switch it around). If that doesn't work, delete you PS preferences file. It'll get rebuilt next time you load Photoshop. |

For example, when I look at the Channels and should be able to see R,G,B in black and white... it looks like Sepia. Even my greays in my color picker look like shades of tan. |
