My girlfriend went out of town for the weekend. I'm in the mood to be all alone anyway. I just got back for the sushi bar, where I drank Sake and ate a LOT of sushi.

Total bill for one person: $88

hmmm.. be glad I wasn't with you. Your tab would have been much more than $88..and I don't eat sushi or drink sake.... it would have been steak and a very expensive cognac afterward.

with a full glass of ice is A #1 - I see so many in Japan drinking it like that - starting @ 8 - 9am - better than coffee - a good kick to start off the day!

The one fucked up thing:

I wanted to go watch a movie, but every time I start to respond to a post on here I notice that I misspell words by leaving out letters. I have to go back and correct a lot of words before hitting the "submit reply" button.

I guess that means I shouldn't drive. Damn it.

ya but - 10:30pm - probably most places closed - I know of a couple in Torrance that are open till 11pm - but that was a year ago the last time - so not sure if that is still their hours.

Yeah, I think they were closing as I was leaving.

Out of all the places I've eaten Sushi, my two favorites are:

1. Station Sushi in Solana Beach (near San Diego).

2. The Raw Bar here in Chico.

I was at #2 tonight. Great stuff!

Speaking of Flying Fish... they are SO cool. I was on a dive boat out of Long Beach the first time I saw them. I just sat there and watched them. They'd land on top of the kelp and try to lie still so the sea lions couldn't find them.

Incredible creatures.

My office is in downtown Chico by the college. So is the sushi bar and Starbucks. I'm at my office. I think I'll go to Starbucks before they close in 20 minutes. Time to drink coffee so I can drive the 18.5 miles home. Goodnight, everyone.
