Yay for me... 6 months without a smoke!
 

After smoking for just over 10 years, and multiple attempts at quitting, this is the longest I've ever gone without a smoke. I'm done with it for good, and it feels great! :thumbsup

Thanks guys! It's probably not a big deal to those of you who have never smoked, but to those of us who have smoked, and especially to those of us who have tried unsuccessfully to quit, it feels like one of the greatest personal accomplishments one can do.

Lots of things made me want to quit, but the deciding factor was when I got winded just from walking up 3 flights of stairs at a basketball game...lol

Actually, today it's EXACTLY 6 MONTHS for me without a cig :) I quit on Halloween after 10+ years. I quit a few times before (once for more than 2 years) but I'm so sick of it I'm sure I won't go back :thumbsup

Me too! I had my last smoke on Halloween. I had been "quitting" for a couple of weeks before that, but as I was smoking, I just decided "This will be my last cigarette". And that was that!

i was smoking for about 2 years myself... cut down to having a cig ONLY when i'm drinking coffee! been like that for 6 months :)
