I get those all the time... where in western NY you from? I live there too

they will probably get about 1 to 3 responses from every 100 emails sent

Daily spam for me I get a lot of those

Back in the old days it was much, much easier to phish (but we only did it for usernames and shit...never cc info). It was more of a game to see how many people would actually fall for it. Out of every 100 emails or IMs I sent I had at least 15-20 replies!

They had one from PayPal going around for some time too. Lot of people fell for it.

I had some people contact me asking if I could help them run a scam like this, some big bucks in it...

I wonder how many stupid people really fall for this one!
