A friend of mine wants to be on ifriends
 

I don't knwo what she expects to earn but she basically wants me to set her up and but out, lol. Ok. Well I gues I'll do that for a friend, but can she expect to ge any customers without a website and 1700 "single women at home" ??? I mean her listing would be all the support she had.


Also, is the high quality feed the way to go ?

I dont know much about ifriends, but I do know that she can make coin if shes really hot and stands out.. if shes just another in the bunch and plans on working 2hrs a day she want make shit.

She seems to be average for ifriends. Certainly not the top or the bottom. She might look better than I think though. More people like 18 year olds than 25 year olds..... but I dont.

foolio ,can you give me your opinionon what good sites are out there ,from expierence ,high speed is definetly the way to go,as far as working 8 hours,yeah she can make decent money ,but i run 3 sights at once,sometimes it gets slow sometimes i get hammered.i doubt she will do very well on ifriends ,i sometimes go on couple cam on other sites and always do better then when im on girls alone

Since you can have multiple people at a time on ifriends is it likely she will average 1 person per minute over 8 hours ?

you need a different ip for each session on ifriends
it is very difficult to make decent money on ifriends now, especially if the girl is new and only decent looking

she would need to host on multiple site at once, and even with 8 hours straight online, there will be time when she just stares hopelessly at the monitor and time when she will be stuffed with her 3 dildos :winkwink:

I have worked on ifriends but with so many girls on at once (1800-2000 at any given moment) it made it difficult if not impossible to make a good buck. There are some girls on there that make big bucks but it's a combination of loyal big spenders, sales off of their websites and fan pages, and also products sold.

Thanks for all the info people. So should I have her ger 3 DSL lines ? Each connection requires its own IP and more bandwidth right so is that what I should do ?

I was able to work 3 different sites all on the same IP, same cable modem and never had a problem.

Not sure of that but the trick I used is this...I had 3 cameras and worked off of 3 different sites at the same time:

1 good camcorder with remote control zoom features contected to my computer with a dazzle video capture card. Also I used a remote control tilt/pan tripod like this one which is a must have for a camgirl!

2 logitech quickcams. Only about 100 bucks a piece but I always got a surprising good picture with it. And since it connects directly thru the usb it used the lease amount of resources.

So because my good camcorder setup had the better features of remote control, whenever I would get a private show I would switch the good camera over to that program.

There were times when I would have 3 shows going at once on 3 different camsites, so which ever guy had the most $$ in his account was the guy who got the better camera...simple as that

I worked 3 weeks out of the month, a couple hours a day and could pull in an easy $2000.

Summer months are really slow. My best month was alway December when guys are lonely for the holidays. Made an easy $10,000 which went right to the tuition bill due in January.

Why would you need a tripod with controls in the handle if you are using the remote that came with the camera ? lol also that tripod doesnt pan and tilt by itself.

the remote control for the cam only zooms in and out. the remote control for the tripod tilts and pans. Let me dig out my tripod and let you know the exact make and model.

ok, I used a regular tripod (you can buy anywhere) with a Sunpak head attachment used for remote control tilt and pan.

Keep in mind if she is going to have a cameraman there then she wont need such a fancy setup. But if she has to do it all herself then more accessories will make it that much easier for her.

Also make sure she has a clean studio area with a nice backdrop. No one likes to see a camgirl who has her cam in her dorm room with shit thrown all over the place. Drawing off of some of Lars' girls for some examples:

Nice setup though some cameras have a hard time with dark colors, you will have to experiment with lighting.

On the other hand, using bright backgrounds like this girl and this girl sometimes causes the camera and/or camsites program to overcompensate and the girl ends up looking pale and washed out. Whenever I used a bright background my customers would tell me there was such a glare that there were times they couldnt even see me.

I'm sure there are ways around these sort of problems, would be better to ask one of the photographers around here.

If you really want to know what backdrop makes the most revenue, check out the top 10 list on ifriends for a few months. It needs to be neat, colorful, and lived in. The clients want to talk to the girl next door in thier state (girl next door), not some studio girl in Lativa that they have nothing in common with. Im not saying that I would, or do recomend meeting a client in person EVER, EVER, EVER but if they entertain the fantasy it can mean big $$$. :2 cents:
