How do I make a video clip into an animated gif for my sig???

I just found an mpg of the 'Oh Sheila' video by Ready for the World and I wanna add a little flava to my sig.

How do you do it? Is there a script that pulls frames and then you piece them together in Photoshop or sumthin'?

I just bought Snatch It to grab the vidcaps.. am I on the right track?

Now I just downloaded gif & avi builder, seems to be merging all the test frames correctly...

This isn't working..

Just in case anybody's interested, or is doing a search sometime in the future (...the future Conan?)..

Take a vid and grab caps with Snatch It, then merge and save them with GIF Movie Gear. Takes 5 min. once you know what to do.

its like watching a child learn how to do something
