If so what does she think about it?

Almost everyone in my family knows and they all either love the idea or reluctantly support it. My mother thinks it's great that I can work at home and spend time with my kids. I have a pretty cool family in some respects.

im 18 and my mother found out after i lied to her for awhile, i told her i was promoting mortgage leads.. :1orglaugh i left my house with a site editor open and she put my clothing in my room and seen the site i was working on, she was a little pissed that i lied, but she seen the checks i have brought in and some were alot more then she makes so she is happy that i am doing something productive. i mean all my life i wanted to work on/ with computers, and i get to from my room, so i am happy and that makes her happy..

my step dad is cool with it and jokes about it alot.

my real dad is cool with it and asks alot of questions, but just wondering what his son is up to and finds it cool that i get to do something i enjoy

my stepmom (man i have alot of parents) i donno if she knows, i think she does but she never said anything.


the rest of my family, all they know is i work off the pc... haha my step mom's parents think i sell shit on Ebay :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

My parents know. My dads first reaction was "Hook me up!".
My mom was the first to find out though back when I was 16-17 and doing it. Her only real concern with it was my age at the time. As soon as she realized that I was making more than she was and was giving HER money instead of the other way around she started leaving me alone.
It also helped that my cousin (Stev0) started doing it at the same time I did. We were able to back each other up and stand up to our parents. His mom was harder to deal with then mine in alot of ways. Once she found out he was growing mushrooms in his room the porn didnt seem to matter much anymore though, :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

my entire family knows, my parents hate me for it... and my aunt told my grandma, and wants to make me change my mind. They think it's illegal, and keep referring to drugs and "degrading people".

My brothers think it's cool though, and of course I have some good friends in the industry that are always supporting of me. I guess that helps me keep going... well, that and the money. hehe

not only does my mom know, my son is my business partner. we started our first site together in 1996. so his mom knows, too ;-)

All you have to do is pay off your parent's mortgage, buy them a new car every year, and send them on vacations and they shut the fuck up about it real fast.

my immediate family knows. it took a while to convince my mom to allow me to do it though and since im only 18 and living at home i kinda needed their approval or i'd constantly be working with my door closed/locked.

i'm not really making a lot of money though, so she still doesn't respect what i do.
