Believe it or not yes, millions of people around the world open up attachments without thinking about it.

why do people still fall for 419 scams? why do people still fall for phone scames?

i use Outlook.... and have no problems at all. Because I also use Mailwasher Pro, and I can see everything sent to me prior to downing it from the server. So, I get this crap and it gets bounced and deleted without it ever touching my machine.

Anyone still downloading email blind is a fool.

If you used mozilla thunderbird (free) - you wouldn't have to rely on external programs to protect you from unpatched MS vulnerabilities.

I really can't fault my grandmother for not knowing what to look for. She's just learning now.
I can teach her the majority of things to look out for, but she's gotta learn some things on her own from trial and error.

Not everyone in this world has been online for the past 10 years you know.

i prefer to look at what comes in while it's still on the server and make my own decisions as to what I accept and don't accept.

If people weren't opening the attatchments then there wouldn't be so man infected computers spreadind the virus.
