do you use music on your site's videos?

i am wondering how many people get music to put on their videos in their paysites - or for their trailers on the tours. is it common to put music on the videos?

Well i think it would be a good idea vid samples since they are short and sweet ... it really adds a nice touch to the video at times for those "boring" scenes

It all depends on the models and how they sound :2 cents:

that's what i think, but on the other hand, if your trailer has music, shouldn't the corresponding video?

the girls don't talk much in the trailers, so music would fill it out...

Sometimes a little added music and some slow motion does wonders:

the music is sort of hypnotic, and really goes with the slo-mo. nice job!

do you use it on your full videos or just the trailers?

thanks,

i usually never use added music on the either trailers or the full length movies and go withthe orig soundtrack, only when the real sound is messed up or in this case when you "slow mo" the clip it makes your original soundtrack not usable because you can't really sync it up correctly.

almost all of my videos have music going on anyways during the contests so it's usually not an issue with me

but if your making promo clips splicing many multiple little parts together then i think laying down a new soundtrack sounds/looks alot better. but if the promo clip is mainly just one scene then you might not want to mess with it, just depends on the situation i guess.

cheers,
BV

I usually put some relatively quiet music or beats on every thirty-second trailer I edit, re-using the same loops for consistency between episodes of a given series. That and some graphics make the trailers if you edit them carefully. On longer videos usually not, unless it's a feature movie for DVD or tv broadcast.
