Fluctuating sales rate

Who in here hates it when daily they receive a constant ammount of traffic/sales and then for like 3 days straight they make about 70% less sales.

never happened to me, i get steady sales figures - except at christmas

serguei 04-29-2004 09:23 AM

Any time we have minus 40% approx.... yes it is strange... the same traffic but less transactions....

yeah the exact same thing here. for how many days does the 40% drop stand

im experiencing the same thing, day before yesterday was a statistical anomaly. 80% decrease in sales with the same traffic.

i think it's ccbill, ive noticed long delays on signup pages, errors on signup pages, etc etc.

what a coincidence i use CCBill also. although i didnt hear about the long delays. hope it fixes itself up quick

I use my own billing system, but I too have weird up and down falls in terms of traffic and signups. Sometimes the ratio between those two is weird too.

riosluts 04-29-2004 09:30 PM

well today was another crappy day. The bandwidth just keeps on burning and the signups dont keep on rolling

I LOVE CCBILL!!

Now..that I've said that and hopefully won't be accused of bashing..I have had the same experience as you. And the bothersome thing is that friends of mine and others who use ccbill have said the same thing. Re-bills are failing greatly, and after just rolling along like crazy..it's like we hit a wall or something and signups just started dribbling in starting about 2 weeks ago instead of the USUSAL steady amount of signups for the previous year in a roll.

I don't know what to say..I mean, if you can't trust CCBill, then we might as well hang it up or get your own merchant's account (which would be wise anyhow), cuz there just ain't anyone else out that comes close to approaching the caliber of ccbill!

Oh well, I walked to the Popeyes across the street. McDonalds ratio will have to go down tonight.
