What about us territories like the us virgin islands or guam. I thought we could go to some others too.

1. Government Picture ID
2. Original or Certified Original Copy of Birth Certificate

And this law will get more strict in the next 1 to 2 years - mark my words..

Good luck, I go to Canada all the time when I am in Michigan and one time didn't bring a passport and went through all kinds of hell. They almost made us call someone to bring a fucking passport to us at the border at 3am. SInce 9-11 there's really no country you can just come and go without a passport like you used to be able to. :2 cents:

I didn't know you can go to other countries without a passport. Some countries wouldn't require a visa.

You probably don't need a passport for those places.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I still have no passport, but still travel to Canada many times a year. Coming back into the U.S. is a pain in the ass. It's time I got a passport!

It was worse when I had long hair. I always got searched by U.S. customs, and that was *before* 9-11. Idiots.

bufferover 04-29-2004 02:33 AM

And in the European Union also :) :Graucho

Most of the Carribean countries only require a Driver's License and a birth certificate. The best place to call is probably the airline you're going to fly with, since they check your docs at check-in.

Oh man, I know about the long hair induced harassment all too well. I had hair to my ass, and I fly at least once a month or so, and I would get searched at least 2 or 3 times everytime I flew. It was such a pain in my ass. But I didn't complain, I think that racial profiling is good.
