junior high and high school?
would someone please explain me what's the difference between junior high and high school? I'm translating a resume right now.
Here in Mexico, we have "primaria" - 6 years (elementary school), "secundaria - 3 years (I guess this one is junior high) and then "preparatoria" - 3 years (I guess this one is high school), after this we have University, etc. Am I right? Thanks a lot |

I think junior becomes before the high school
|
in the US junior high is 7-8th grade, sometimes 6th, HS is 9-12

I think JUNIOR HIGH means 3rd year high school, while HIGH SCHOOL consists of all 4 year levels.
