Why are children playing and dancing around burning millitary vehicles?

Seems to me, it's a good way to get hurt.

Some of them were celebrating the fact that an US soldier was show down in that vehicle. Makes me wounder why Iraqi children like it when a US soldier dies, I guess Bush is right "Iraqis are LIKING US presence in Iraq!" Stupid war, stupid bush, stupid media!

I can't say most Americans are stupid, its not their fault they are so easily brainwashed by TV & Media, when that is their life!

Accused is the key word. And there's a fucking war going on out there last I checked. Keep your fucking kids away from an attacked us military convoy would be my best advice.

Well this is not justification, but soldiers over in the middle east have to come to terms with engaging women and children both in combat, even the russians built weapons to disable children in the war with afghanistan, they built mines that looked like butterflies and made them bright colored, explosion took off feet/hands etc. you'd have to be pretty evil to come up with that idea IMO.

Before people call the Iraqis terrorists, as if they are associated with such groups (except perhaps a very small percentage), you should realize that Saddam and Bin Laden hated each other (Saddam ran a secular government). Saddam didn't support Bin Laden, the given reason for invasion was for weapons of mass destruction.

Killing of children is sad, and based on the information given, it sounds like someone just lost self control. We invaded their country, it's theirs, we're the occupiers whether we agree with that perspective or not, the children were celebrating the death of an invader, they are just children, and should not have been attacked.

Regarding the earlier comment about US media, as a friend once told me, "all governments conduct propaganda against it's citizens, but Americans seem to be uniquely susceptible to it".
