Who else besides me had money invested in Nortel??

Man, I am so sorry. They offered me a job back in 1999, and I chose porn instead. I am glad because since that time, they have done nothing but miss estimates and lay people off.

Damn, I could have told you that was going to happen. Nortel is one of our clients at my "full-time" gig and has been laying people off here for months and months to prepare for two of their buildingds to shutdown here.
Hopefully you didnt lose too much money.

Lost a grand on them today. I thought they might pull it out but it seems they wont any time soon.

the writing is on the wall for NT... same thing for Corvis

in early '04 the stock was up 700% from the low and people don't think it ran up enough?
come on people...

same thing with OSI Pharma and Imclone: they are gonna fall next and in fact already have dropped from their intra-day highs of monday... go short baby

No I didn't loose that much.

I invested 2k when the stock was 6.10$ canadian.
I should have sold it when it was up to almost 12$...

bah, anyways, it went to to about 5.50$ canadian today. So I'm short about 300$

I will hold on to it though.
It doesn't look like a scandal like Enron had. No money reported missing so far. Just overestimates in their income.

We will see.

This is something I did for the long run anyways.
