I'm all for the death penalty on pedophiles and rapists. They should hold lotteries for the honour of flicking the switch, or auction off the rights on eBay.

You may be right on that, but in the mean time you have been arrested for the CP and have lost almost everything that you own. Not to mention the people that said that they were your friends. This is obviously an old and ongoing story:

So far, the investigation has netted 51 convictions nationwide, including 17 in North Texas. Several cases are pending in Dallas County courts.

They probably print the story every few months to keep it in the news, but if they already have 51 convictions, this is not new.
