thats gay. and i have the same card. uh oh

magicmike 04-28-2004 10:11 AM

Yeah usually tv's etc are very expensive to fix. I heard that most tv's that don't work are due to people smoking near their tv's.

the smoke gets in the tv and then the heat makes the smoke turn into a nasty slime all over the electronics and it fucks the shit up big time.

:2 cents:

Yup, even with a warranty, it is sometimes a huge pain in the ass. Ultimate Electronics here in Las Vegas has been screwing over my buddy who bought a $3,500 LCD and he has a warranty. Good luck dude....

stev0 04-28-2004 11:23 AM

I got a nice 32" a while ago.. only something like $500cdn

VeriSexy 04-28-2004 11:24 AM

DreamCumTrue 04-28-2004 11:25 AM

phpslave 04-28-2004 11:27 AM

can someone buy me a tv?

JohnV 04-28-2004 11:28 AM

I purchased a 5 year extended platinum warranty with my 50" Pioneer plasma for $1k extra...covers it completely they promise me....we'll see when I go to them in yr 4 when I have 2 or 3 pixels out and demand a new one. So far, it has been perfect.

Well, I actually went into Ultimate Electronics last week (the place I bought this overly expensive TV and warranty) and asked them about the warranty again to make sure things were as they appeared. They assured me they would replace my 50" plasma with whatever the newest replacement version is at that time. It is worth it with something like a plasma since they cannot "fix" them and need to replace the entire unit for the most part.

So whatever you get this time around, look into the extended warranty since the manufacturer shit is usually only good for 1 year.

lagwagon 04-28-2004 12:06 PM

word to that. i will sheesh.
