We also watch these guys and ban them from using the ARS Referral program if they abuse it. As far as the guys in this thread with ARS sigs, they, for the most part, send good traffic and makes sales with us.....there are always exceptions and we will keep watching them and banning them as we go if they abuse the system.

If these sig whores really thought their posts and sigs had value, why wouldn't they just rotate buttons in their sig to programs that have webmaster referal programs?

i keep my cursor as far away from ars sigs to avoid clicking on them accidently.

there is no big money in webmaster referral programs.
You have to send someone sending many sales daily, to make a good profit of him.
Fact is that most referred webmasters make 1 sale every 2 weeks in a program.

No we would not allow it. Our message board is based on helping our webmasters and getting good feedback from other webmasters on useful tools. The purpose of our referral program was not intended to be used by sig whores.

I didn't say my or anyone else's sig is worthless.

Fact is that everyone had SWOIT in their sigs, then many people haven't clicked them or haven't joined SWOIT through the sigs.
But SWOIT branded themselves succesfully and everybody knows them and some people probably joined them later, not through sigs.
The top GFY banenr costs $3k ( I think so ).
Do you think the programs make their money back from webmasters whoo joined exact throguh that banner?
People who buy sigs , usually buy 20-30 of them and they simply buy banner impressions which are good for their program recognition and branding.

Then when a webmaster is looking for hosting, dialer program or whatever, then he remembers the program that bought sigs on GFy so he decided to join them and starts sending sales.

I haven't done an ARS sale in a while (since the GIM sites got killed). I don't even know where they're sending my traffic now.... been to busy with other projects to check it out. The sig makes some nice extra beer cash though.

I never really did get into the sig thing at all, but would this not be a buyers market then? Could a lot of these sigs be had cheap and if so, is it still effective to buy them?

LOL..at least the ars sigs are buttons nowadays..they used to be 468x60..and at least 99% of the threads had a few :BangBang:
