my understanding is that it can take up to six months for the antibodies in ones immune system to appear to fight the virus, which is what the standard ELISA test looks for - so a negative result on that is basically useless (edit - unless you take the test after 6 months of no risk whatsoever). I dont believe anyone is using ELISA in LA right now, are they? Its all PCR-DNA no?

I would love to have some more info on the hahahahahaha of time for the virus to appear and to be given a clean bill of health via a pcrdna test - if anyone has informed knowledge ... TIA
