pop-blocker workaround
does anyone know about this? someone at avenue a is asking me about it. i figured someone on here would know the answer - thanks for your help.
Online ad management firm Falk eSolutions AG has bowed technology that detects pop-up blockers and automatically converts pop-up and pop-under inventory into alternate rich media formats, mostly floating ads, on the fly. The new tool is intended to compensate for incidents of failed pop-up impressions, which have likely risen sharply as consumers have increasingly embraced pop-up blockers such as those offered through the Google and Yahoo! toolbars. http://www.clickz.com/news/article.php/3345761 |
i hate sites that cheat popup blockers. When I come across one, I make a note to never go to that site again.
FYI everyone: Spybot Search & Destroy innoculation works to block the Avenue A fuckers every single time people. |
It's an never ending battle.
Those that push them get creative And those that hate them find ways to block them. Round and round we go :) |
thanks guys :)
