at what stage can you tell the gender of the baby???
my girl is a month and a half pg...was just curious when you can tell the gender

You could probably tell that early with an amino, but doctors don't do those unless there is a reason to suspect a genetic abnormality. If I remember correctly, the gender can't usually be determined on ultrasound until sometime after the 4th month.

I believe it's at either at Week 16 or Week 19 that you can tell the gender on the Ultrasound.

(My wife had our first last month.)

Crypt -- don't worry too much.

All my friends told me that after my wife had our first that my life would come to a screaching halt -- no sleep, having to deal with a crying baby all the time -- complete frustration all 'round.

It's completely the opposite -- yes, you lose some sleep time but life is more enjoyable and you get a fresh perspective on everything.

I definitely recommend treating your girlfriend like gold especially for the next 9 months -- when you see what women have to go thru, you'll be happy you did.

im not really sweating it that much...maybe im still in shock lol...and yeah..ive always treated my girl like gold ;) (even when she wants me to go get her a slice of pizza at 3am)
