18 U.S.C. '2257 question for party content (pics)
 

Since I`m on party every weekend I got an idea to shoot party content.
Do I need according to US laws (18 U.S.C. '2257) model release of people kissing or touching tits or genitals vithout nudity?

Can be this phase from US law "contains one or more visual depictions made after November 1, 1990 of actual sexually explicit conduct" applied to those images?

As I understand it, if the pictures are taken in a private place and there is not a clear notice stating that people will be taking pictures for publication then you need a model release, it's a privacy thing.

Then again if one of those attending the party happened to be 17 and 11 months, 3 weeks you could be in a lot more trouble. An 18 year old could tell his younger brother to come to the party.

Always best to lean to the safe side, get the doc u ment ation right.

And of course ASK A LAWYER.
