52C for Harddrive temp too high
 

I opened my comp and felt my harddrive and its pretty damn hot. I think if I licked it my tongue would burn. I loaded up speedfan and it showed as being 52C is that too hot. I also think my DVD-RW is running hot also, anyway to check the temp on that

any clue why this can be? its kinda hot in my room since its almost summer

Dude that is bad..contact who supplied the PC. HighRPM drives can run hot but 52C affects your a/c bil. Bad IMO.

argh and my cpu temperature is at 72C . i dont think thats normal

i think i need a case fan. i dont have one in this comp.

You don't have any fans in that pc? :warning

yeah i do. Power supply has 2 fans and the CPU has one and also the BIOS, but no case fan
